A tazer or a bean bag would have been the appropriate weapon. If he had shot her with bean bag or tazer and then drawn his gun on the crowd they would have stopped.

The surge in votes in both 2016 and 2020 were small albeit decisive. The problem with Hillary is that she actively lost votes. Democrats, especially Bernie supporters, simply didn't show up. The leap in voters to defeat Trump is far more impressive.
