Evil: ?

Would I vote for Palin? Not likely, I find her a gadfly.

With that said, yes, Obama's plan is evil in the sense it will leave people to die in greater numbers than before. Perhaps in the name of 'equality', but it's not. Relatively few are not covered, those that aren't manage to cop major medical, which means 'less than dying' for the most part. Obama's plan leads to many more doing that, with few perhaps, no guarantees, getting better coverage.

Obama's plan is wrong, we may need reform, but not a NEW SYSTEM. Copying the Europeans and Canadians is dumb, on so many levels.
Yes because the French and German systems are such miserable failures.

A lawyer I know had a lap band put in and went to Juarez MX, before all the killings started, his doctor was not just american trained, but had his main office in El Paso TX. He just did the procedures in Juarez. It cost 1/3 what it would have cost here. I know two other people that had Lasik done in Juarez, the cost was less than half what it costs here. I myself have had dental work done in Juarez, a bridge that was going to cost me 1500 here cost 370 in Juarez with the exact same standards and methods. Women get Birth control in MX at the cost of 15 bucks for a 6 month supply. The cost is the primary problem in this country. IT is was has to be controled.

Cost is a major problem everywhere but you do tend to suffer more than most with it. There's a flourishing trade here in people heading to eastern Europe to have dental work carried out at a fraction of the price it would cost them in the UK. Ironically, most of the dentists working here are from eastern Europe anyway.

The only reason the radical right is against health care is because their political backers will loose profits. To hell with the health of the population. This is nothing new, they have ALWAYS been against anything that will benefit society and are for anything that will bring them a nickel. They see this country as a cash cow.

show me where the this "radical right" is against "health care"

so much deception.

OK!

In 1965, the Social Security Amendments of 1965 passed both houses and were signed into law by President Johnson, establishing Medicare and Medicaid and ending in defeat for the Republican Party a long, bitter fight against national health insurance that began with the Roosevelt administration and spanned the administrations of Presidents Truman and Kennedy and part of Johnson's. Perhaps the most far-reaching health care legislation passed in U.S. history, the amendments included a hospital insurance program for Social Security recipients over 65, funded from payroll taxes, and voluntary medical service insurance for the same group, funding by small premiums and general revenues.

there's lots more but you can do your own research.

you want something a little newer?

We reject any notion of government-run universal health care because we have seen evidence from around the world that government-run health care leads to inefficiencies, long waiting periods, and often substandard health care. We applaud efforts by President Bush and the Republican Congress to reform the broken medical liability system that is raising health care costs and limiting patients’ access to doctors-doctors who are being driven out of their practices by excessive medical liability costs.

stop lying...everyone in this country can get health care..

you damn right we reject this administrations hostile take over our Health care system, that would be run by one the most crooked administration ever..

they have done such a bang up job with medicare and medicaid, the post office, Amtrak, DMV, Social Security...

just what we need, give them our health care system..it would one of the largest takeover by our Federal Government..

get a clue..to what the objection is about...it's not about denying people "health care"

get a clue..to what the objection is about...it's not about denying people "health care"

I understand that the objection is about Bush's 'base' loosing profits. and yes, anybody in this country can get health care... if they have enough money.

How comes I get the impression that no matter what Obama does it's going to be evil because Obama has done it.

What a crock of shit! Do you see our elderly and very young being left to die on Medicare/Medicaid? No. What evidence do you have that this would happen? None.

You're just partisan hacks who, once again, are walking like sheep to the slaughter, cause that's what your leaders are telling you to do and your to dumb to take the time think things through.

What's the old adage about the far right? Be a Republican. It's easier than thinking?

OK, I'll explain it to you. We have a free market health care system that is broken and does not work for to many people. With exception of the Insurance/HMO industry it has become an excessive burden economically on our nation since most health insurance is employer based. The US spends more health care dollars per GDP with less results then any modern nation in the world. What more evidence do you need that our system is broke and needs fixed and that if we don't catastrophic economic consequences will occur.

If your not part of the solution your part of the problem.
