Congressional Republicans got the lowest approval rating in 25 years with only 31% liking the GOP.

The Republican party is struggling and that is reflected in the New York Whore Times/CBS poll.
The poll mirrors a growing dismay over how the GOP is handling its affairs. The party seems leaderless
and without direction. Republican ideology has lost its appeal for moderate Republicans and independents
who are concerned about the unfettered fiscal spending that occurred during the Bush years. Sane folk
are dismayed by what appears to be the hijacking of the party by Evangelical right wing handjobs.

what does this have to do with cash for clunkers? are you happy the program lasted what....a whole week before it ran out of money....
 
only 8.1 million in 6 months. Pretty poor fund raising.

And that clunker senator Bunning of mine said he was not running for re-election becuase he could not raise enough money.

speaking of clunkers, how is that old shuffling McCain doing?

actually trading in their whole strategy would be the best thing they could do.
How could they adopt something that would garner less than 20% unless they let Southerntool or Preacher write it.

Newt's basically running a think tank. Any money raised goes to pay staff, consultants (for polling and such); any excess can be used for donations to worthy candidates.
