There was also a dent in his car with cotton fibers matching Aubrey's clothes.

Which means while he was hunting Aubrey, he actually used his car to bump him and attempt to box him in.

I have wandered onto housing construction sites after work hours and walked through the frames of houses being built. Just out of curiosity. I like to see the guts of the construction process.
