3 men guilty of murder in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery

True, but how can one guy be charged with more than one count of felony murder when there's only one dead guy?

I'm stealing from domer because his explanation is succinct and accurate:

Felony murder is when someone dies in the commission of a felony. There were 4 different felonies and one murder charge associated with each felony.

Also:

"Prosecutors say the men committed four felonies: two counts of aggravated assault, one count of false imprisonment and one count of criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment. So the men faced four counts of felony murder."

Keep in mind, this is the same region that stopped the vote count over an alleged water break only to resume counting after finding more votes. THe Atlanta area is a very crooked and corrupt town

that being said, I thought all three were guilty, but just the shooter for murder, the other two as accomplices

You're a fucking idiot.

Actually, it took months to arrest any of them, but yes...once the moron released his video it was just a matter of time.

Those fucking morons are so clueless they released the only evidence that could convict themselves, thinking it would be openly accepted by society.

It was openly accepted by a decent share of people. White people keep getting told that they can do whatever the fuck they want without facing any consequence. These verdicts are helpful, but they won't dissuade the neo-Nazis from doing more stupid shit.

Who keeps telling us white people we can do whatever the fuck we want without facing any consequence?

I agree those three idiots should have left that guy alone, but grabbing a shotgun by the business end is also not a smart move.

That picture actually bothers me. The fat, racist baby boi murders two people, injures a third, and walks out of the courtroom and into Trump's living room. It's fucking foul. He's going to murder again. That white trash jury has so much blood on its hands.

That's exactly how I feel too. Other than in war time, I've only known one person in my life who shot and killed another human being. She was a retired St. Louis police officer. Although it had been over 30 years before when I made her acquaintance, she *still* felt remorse. It was a righteous shooting -- the person had pulled a gun on her. The police dept. provided counseling, as it does to all officers involving in a shooting. She said that that helped, but she carried that with her for decades.

This kid? I don't see any remorse here, do you? He's relishing being in the limelight for his murders.

Those assholes murdered a person and were allowed to sleep in their beds like nothing happened for weeks. The DA should get ass raped in prison for the rest of her life just like them.
They just indicted her in Sept.. She not only refused to bring the case before a grand jury, once she 'recused' herself she instructed the successors not to indict the daddy murderer.

She doesn't face a lot of time, but she should sit in prison and think about what she did.

Correct. They just learned that sharing any evidence is best done in private.

The biased judge didn't allow the jury to know that he plotted the shooting for months. He told a friend that he'd love to 'shoot some looters' during the protests.

He also did not allow them to see this. Note the "State's Exhibit" sticker at the bottom.

Correct. The judge was ecstatic when the jury delivered the verdict. He couldn't control his excitement.

Ironically, the Gomer Klan's lawyers are going to appeal the case based on, among other things, the fact that the jury wasn't allowed to know about Arbery's criminal history.

The Shittenhouse supporters here don't seem to comment on the contrast between the judges.

Kyle got a reprieve. Now he has a choice; start life anew and off the public radar or to enjoy his 15 minutes of fame and turn into a 30 to 40something loser over the next 10-20 years. Maybe end up dead or in prison.

It's also different states and different laws.

Given the photo op with trump, I don't think he has the sense to keep his head low. Let him run his mouth. There are civil cases on the horizon.

I do understand nuance, but even SYG laws do not allow you to start an altercation, and then claim self defense.

I think this was more about the judge and jury. Rittenhouse pre meditated a non descript killing, and the jury decided that pointing his weapon at random citizens was not considered a provocation.
