3 men guilty of murder in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery

He joined the chase during the hunt. Ironically, if he didn't record the hunt, they would all be free.

When I first saw the video I knew that the guy was part of the 'hunt'. It took a few days to arrest him, but could you be more obvious? LOL at these redneck fucks.

Agreed. US justice follows Blackstone's Ratio: "better that ten guilty persons escape, than that one innocent suffer."

About 40% of Americans agree with you. Does this help explain why so many African-American males are in prison?
Because most people view themselves as innocents who could easily be imprisoned unfairly.

Even the guy who merely videod the incident is found guilty of murder!!!!! This is clearly another case of media intimidation of a jury. The jurors knew if they said not guilty, they would be doxxed and their homes would burn. Same thing in the derek chauvin trial.
Whatever it takes.

Atlanta might as well be the moon when it comes to Brunswick. It is backwoods and backwards. I know family there is relieved. If they had gotten away with this it would not have sent a good message. It ain’t perfect but in this case the jury system worked.
It almost got swept under the rug, but the idiot released his video of the hunt.

You can tell by his haircut that he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Right? I mean, who doesn't just randomly pick up their cellphone while driving and film a jogger. Just a complete dumb fuck.

He was part of an illegal pursuit; a provocation that resulted in a murder.

Even though I doubt Roddie realized it, as soon as he, too, started "chasing the black guy", he become part of the crime.

IMO, there will be a difference in sentencing between Roddie and the dad, Greg. Maybe 10-15 for Roddie and 20-25 for Greg? That's a guess. I'd be surprised if they each received the same sentence due to different levels of culpability. If Roddie only got 5 years, I'd think that just in his case.

OTOH, I was wrong that Wisconsin would allow shooting into a crowd as part of self-defense. LOL
I never shared your confidence in the law in that case.

Actually, it took months to arrest any of them, but yes...once the moron released his video it was just a matter of time.

Those fucking morons are so clueless they released the only evidence that could convict themselves, thinking it would be openly accepted by society.

they are clearly racists so they will have no remorse joining up with a gang for protection from day one. you can probably put your felonious rape fantasies on hold for the time being.
Not sure how many of the prison Nazis like ex cops?

hey - if you enjoy dreaming of felony rapes - you might want to look into what is wrong with you

I'll just move onto a new topic
Thou dost protest too much.

I think you're projecting here.

Nobody else addressed the 'Bubba' comment but you.

I didn't follow the trial but why were they charged with multiple murder charges?

The primary charge was intentional murder (aka murder with malice) it carries the harshest penalty of the death sentence, or life without parole. The other murder charges are lesser murder charges. I don’t think the circumstances legally merit a death penalty sentence or the prosecution agreed to take the death penalty off the table.

Since Travis McMichael was convicted of intentional murder he will probably receive a sentence of life without parole. Greg McMichael was not convicted of intentional murder but was convicted of multiple counts of felony murder. He could get either a life sentence with or without parole but without parole is more likely as he was convicted on multiple murder charges. However since he is 65 years old and would have to serve 60 years before being eligible for parole he will be imprisoned for the rest of his life. Mr. Bryan was convicted of one count of felony murder. He will probably receive life with parole eligibility. To be eligible for parole he will have to serve 30 years. Given that he is 52 he would be 82 when he is eligible. With good behavior that could be reduced to twenty years but wouldn’t mean he would be paroled.

However if convicted of Federal Civil Rights violations they will all three never see freedom again. It’s possible that the McMichaels could get the death penalty but is unlikely to happen.

I find it gross - and a sign you are a broken individual

some times innocent people go to jail. I think felony assault in prison are a problem and one I don't make light of.

But I don't care to beat this dead horse - I will move on - and shake my head as I do

IMO this is a righteous verdict.

I wonder how the Rittenhouse jurors will feel when they see this?

I have not followed this trial that closely. two of them seemed pretty cut and dried and all three seem like racist shitheads to me. the one that came in third and was holding a phone the whole time - did he have the same charge?

They did not charge him with the murder with malice thing.

I wonder of Father and Son racetards ever thought they would wake up some day, and find themselves locked up in PRISON with all those Black Men they hate so much?

Ironic in historic proportion! LOL!

Oh Well! Perhaps they'll never get stabbed by a sharp object!

So you think these racists were innocent.

Noted.
