If I were you, I'd let this slip into the abyss of threads. The study was conducted by a professor at Yale and there two PhD students under them. It was a valid study period and was more in depth and scientific than an online poll.

I have no expertise in the social sciences, but I always assumed they went to school for 8 years to get a PhD to learn all the statistical methodology and research methods to publish robust, peer-reviewed studies.
But, as you demonstrate, compellingly, 100 years of accepted social science methodology is nothing more than the equivalent of an AOL online poll.
You deserve a Nobel prize for this.
