Bharti Shahani, 22 years old, was declared dead Wednesday and was being removed from a ventilator, attorney James Lassiter said at a news conference Thursday. A video from the concert showed Ms. Shahani falling from a gurney as medics tried to help her, Mr. Lassiter said.
Others who died at the concert ranged in age from 14 years old to 27.
Mohit Ballani, Ms. Shahani’s cousin, who also attended the concert, blamed the organizers for her death, saying the concert was too packed and insufficiently staffed.
“The word that should be used is atrocity,” he said. “They suffocated us.”
