Kyle Rittenhouse

Then why did he chase Rittenhouse and threaten to kill him?

I never read anything about threats to kill.

I agree. But Rosenbaum was released from a mental hospital that very day that injected himself into a volatile situation and had threaten to kill several different people. He also screamed for a guy carring a AR 15 to kill him and made threatening moves toward him.

I didn't hear this about Rosenbaum but I do agree that the fewer people who inject themselves into volatile situations, the less chance of those situations getting out of hand. Apparently the plastic bag Rosenbaum threw contained deodorant, socks and underwear.

Edit: I found this article about Rosenbaum. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/10/03/kenosha-shooting-victims/

You don't go looking for trouble then whine like a little bitch when you find it. Rittenhouse wanted to live out his Turner Diaries fantasy...he got what he wished for. Now he suffers the consequences of his actions.

Here's a thought: if Rittenhouse ran away initially when people started yelling at him, he wouldn't have had to shoot. Again, there is no video as to who started what ... we just pick up in the middle of the action, like returning to your theatre seat from a bathroom run in the middle of a movie.

Rittenhouse's mother doesn't sound like parent of the year either. The kid was underage but apparently had a lot of freedom to do what he wanted.

She drove him to Wisconsin for the express purpose of letting the little shyte get strapped and go to Kenosha! Look at he mindset of the crowd she hangs with that cheered her recently! Hopefully, when junior is cooling his heels in the slammer, he'll realize that it wasn't the minorities or the liberals that put him in jail...it was her.

You don't chase after someone with an AR 15 and threaten to kill him and try to disarm him. You might just get killed in an act of self defense.

Kyle did try to run away. Rosenbaum ran after Kyle and WITNESSES say Rosenbaum tried to take Kyle weapon. Plus WITNESSES say Rosenbaum threatened Kyle's and other people's lives that night. Clearly he was a unstable homicidal maniac that had been released from a mental facility that very day. Rosenbaum found the trouble he was looking for.

Many of the prosecution's witnesses in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial suggested the teenager opened fire in self-defense

Prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial rested their case Tuesday after presenting more than 20 witnesses, many of whom explicitly or inadvertently made statements that supported the defense's self-defense case.

According to many of the state's witnesses — including the only survivor of the shootings — Rittenhouse didn't pull the trigger until each of the men approached him and made threatening-looking movements.

The first man Rittenhouse shot, 36-year-old Rosenbaum, had chased Rittenhouse into the parking lot of a car dealership and lunged for the teenager's AR-15 rifle, according to Richie McGinniss, a videographer who was just feet behind the pair.

Many of the prosecution's witnesses described Rosenbaum's conduct that evening in colorful terms. Rosenbaum was "hyper-aggressive" and "aggravated," according to Ryan Balch, who said he was one of the armed civilians guarding local businesses alongside Rittenhouse that evening. Rosenbaum was "behaving erratically," Kenosha live-streamer Koerri Washington testified. Jason Lackowski, another armed civilian, described Rosenbaum as "a babbling idiot."

Even Rosenbaum's fiancee, Kariann Swart, testified that she had warned Rosenbaum not to go downtown that evening due to the civil unrest. She also testified about the medications Rosenbaum was taking for
bipolar disorder (which he did not take that day).

A key witness testified that Rosenbaum lunged for Rittenhouse's gun
Balch and Lackowski said they saw Rosenbaum attempting to set fires, being restrained by other people, and using the N-word while shouting at armed men to "shoot me." Balch said Rosenbaum even threatened him and Rittenhouse, warning, "I catch any of you guys alone tonight, I'm going to fucking kill you."

McGinniss testified that he witnessed Rosenbaum chasing Rittenhouse that evening. McGinniss even performed a physical demonstration of Rosenbaum's movements, testifying that Rosenbaum adopted a "low" and "athletic" position, then lunged forward and reached toward the barrel of Rittenhouse's gun.

"It was very clear to me that he was reaching specifically for the weapon, because that's where his hands went," McGinniss said. "The rifle was lower than where [Rosenbaum's] hands were, so [Rosenbaum's] hands were going down… Kyle Rittenhouse dodged around it, and then leveled the weapon, and fired."

Upon cross-examination, Grosskreutz agreed that his gun had been pointed at Rittenhouse as the teenager opened fire.

"It wasn't until you pointed your gun at him, advanced on him with your gun — now your hands down, pointed at him — that he fired, correct?" Rittenhouse attorney Corey Chirafisi said.
"Correct," Grosskreutz said.

Jason Lackowski was the sixth witness prosecutors called upon to testify in the trial.
he said he came across a man named Gaige Grosskreutz, who was on the ground, screaming, and had just been shot in the arm.

Lackowski said he helped apply a tourniquet to Grosskreutz's arm just before police arrived, then spotted the gun Grosskreutz had been holding just minutes earlier. He said he picked up the gun from the ground and "dropped the magazine and emptied the chamber."
One of Rittenhouse's defense attorneys, Corey Chirafisi, asked whether Lackowski found a bullet in the chamber. Lackowski said he did.

"In your training and experience, was that gun ready fo be fired?" Chirafisi asked.

"Yes," Lackowski replied.

I never read anything about threats to kill.
A blond middle aged woman today testified Rosenbaum threatened to "rip her F ***ing heart out and eat it" He also threatened to kill others. The guy was a bipolar that had got off his meds and had just been released from a mental institution that day. He was nut case that was looking for trouble and found it. He was also pissed because he had lit a dumpster fire and Kyle was trying to extinguish it. So Rosenbaum was an arsonist and a pedophile nut job.

Yep from the mental facility he had just got out of. You never try to take a gun from an armed person specially after you have threatened to kill him. That is a recipe to get shot.
