Far as I'm concerned the immunity lasts forever. Just like the flu I had over 4 decades ago and haven't since. I don't get flu shots, I don't need them.

My mom got the flu when I was 27, so I took care of her while she had it..after two days I said fuck this, I wanna beer! So I drank some beer and alcohol suppresses your immune system..

I started to feel flu-ish as she was on the mend. However, it only lasted 1/2 a day. Then I was fine again.
