Black Lives Matter' Story Removed From 5th-Grade Books in Florida School District

WFLA reported the exercise was titled "Personal Narrative" and told the story of a father and child attending a "Black Lives Matter" demonstration in June 2020. Some of the vocabulary words included in the passage were "dissent," "redemption" and "anecdotes."

Those same words now appear in a new passage about friends marching in protest during the Civil Rights Movement in 1963.

"Banning the teaching of important milestones in our nation's history is a DETRIMENT to our children and does them a HUGE disservice," Crump tweeted in response to a news segment on the situation. "By replacing the story set during the 2020 protests, it is clear that this district is attempting to alter our nation's history. Unacceptable!"

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis supported the ban. He said at the time that he wanted to prevent instructors and administrators from "teaching kids to hate their country."

FWIW, there is almost no place in California where $1.4m will buy you a mansion. In Beverly Hills, $1.4m might get you 1,000 sq.ft.

You seriously took the bait?

People were posting the same thing back when the lady first bought it. What made me laugh is people were saying she moved 30 minutes from Beverly Hills (implying it was a rich area). Compton is also 30 minutes from Beverly Hills. Would anyone ever describe someone moving to Compton as moving "30 minutes from Beverly Hills"?

I'm a real estate junkie so I laugh when people who have no clue about it (in California) make statements like that.

That isn't what I am talking about. The bait is that she bought those properties because of BLM. She never did.

Regardless of why she bought them I still laugh that people are trying to say someone who spent $1.4m in the area she did bought a mansion. They have no clue.

Oh okay. You agree that she did not enrich herself by lying to the BLM?

Inside BLM co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ million-dollar real estate buying binge

As protests broke out across the country in the name of Black Lives Matter, the group’s co-founder went on a real estate buying binge, snagging four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone, according to property records.

Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37, also eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods both have homes, The Post has learned. Luxury apartments and townhouses at the beachfront Albany resort outside Nassau are priced between $5 million and $20 million, according to a local agent.

Andy Ngo tweeted: "Cullors identifies as a communist & advocates for the abolishment of capitalism." She made all that money on the back of fame gained from being a BLM founder. The fat cunt is laughing at fools like you!

Andy Ngo is dismissed with prejudice.
