Yes, run to your safe place! Abortion is legal in this country, you are right! But this is NOT an issue regarding what a woman can or can't do with her body, I have made no argument in that regard. No person, woman or not, has the right to kill other innocent human beings, except in the case of legal abortion. That is precisely why it's such a huge issue. You people want to remain in denial of the facts and insist this is some kind of "right" a woman possesses, and legally, at this time in history, it is her right. But it's only because you remain in denial of the facts, and refuse to accept what is being done.

I had to answer this same question about twenty pages ago....I think they are both awful, I am a despicable hypocrite for letting you murder the children conceived to rape victims, but I am willing to commit that crime in order to save the other 99% of abortion victims......sucks to be me.....but.....I would rather be me and save 46 million kids than you, and kill them all......

Well you can hurl insults at everybody, but that doesn't change the parameters of the debate. Call me any name in the book, it won't change biology. So your idea of the "modern world" is, we can ethically kill innocent human beings if they are inconvenient? I think I want to live in the pre-modern era, if that is the case. Maybe it's "old fashioned" but I believe innocent human life is valuable, and worth standing up for. You obviously don't believe this.

I can actually foresee a day in the future, where 'abortion on demand' will be a thing of the past, and people will talk about the 'barbaric days' when it was legal to kill innocent human beings. That's not to say we won't have emergency abortion procedures, or that a solution like Damo talks about won't be implemented, but the willing and accepted practice of going to a clinic and having a human life terminated, will be seen as the deplorable uncivilized thing it is.

uh, yes Maine....because one fetus is the fetus of a woman who did NOT choose to create it, and the other fetus IS the fetus of a woman who chose to create it.....I think that is a significant difference between the two fetus'.......besides, as I said....I hate myself for making that decision.....I only do it to appease your appetite for murder......

Tell me about it! These are the same people who tell us that any comprehensive sex education in the public school system will promote pre-marital sex.....then they wail about the rise in abortions among young people. The fools just can't or won't see the flaw in their logic.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.....abortion should never happen in a country that can educated it's population from grade school on about sex, and provide the materials necessary to prevent contraception. The second this country treats sex education with the same reverence it has for sports, things will get better. Until then, it's an individual's choice.
