In case you missed the epic pwnage

I'm not seeing what yurts talking about here.

But if me and Krugman contradict each either, he's right.

post 29, you said it was bad in the long (your post 30) i didn't name the economist on purpose....the economist is krugman and you said he was wrong because he said it was good in the long run

you and ib1 jump all over people for being stupid because they don't agree with krugman because he won a nobel prize, and well.....you just said he was wrong

it wasn't so much a gotcha moment as a moment to reflect on the stupidity of calling someone stupid simply because they dont' agree with a nobel prize winner

Nah - it's much more your m.o. The 3rd grade tactic of posting an unattributed quote, then getting your "A HA!" moment when someone criticizes it, and finds out - OMG! - it's a Dem!

Pretty sad. Last refuge of the uninformed....

who cares....i made a great point and you're just being whiney two year old tommy....here's a quarter, now go play on the freeway

your life consists of following me around the board and jumping out from behind a fence YELLING....LOOOK, THERESSSSS YURT IN A GOTCHA MOMENT

dude, you're acting pathetic, seriously

Yeah, Krugman wasn't meaning what yurt was trying to imply. He posted it unattributed, which is dishonest and irritating. It completely changes the context when I know who it actually comes from.

LMAO....so you admit full bias and i did say it was an economist, you could have asked me who it is....but now we know that you're not fully honest because you will change your opinion based on who says something instead of actually giving your opinion

you can't think for yourself watermark....

and he said it exactly like he said it....nice spin and dance

"you could have asked me who it is"

Or, you could have just attributed the quote; hey...there's a novel idea....

I didn't read that part. It doesn't matter. When you say "an economist", it's standard practice to assume you just pulled it out of your ass.

but now we know that you're not fully honest because you will change your opinion based on who says something instead of actually giving your opinion

Because the views of who is saying something vastly changes the context of what is said. Krugman supports the stimulus. He probably went on to say that we need to stimulate now, and save once the economy is back on track, since that's best overall for our economic health. You were posting a selective quotation in an attempt to bash stimulus, which wouldn't even make sense coming from Krugman.

i fucked up and said krugman was wrong so now i am the stupid that i call others for not agreeing with krugman.....and i must desperately spin this off on yurt, yes, thats the ticket

dude, just admit you disagreed with krugman and move on and stop calling people stupid just becuase they don't agree with your god

The point Krugman was making was not wrong. The point you were trying to make with Krugman's unnatributed words was wrong.

"I did not have to attribute it at that time"

Sure, Yurtie; you can steal other people's ideas & words anytime you want...

i didn't make any point, i underlined his words and asked you if that economist was wrong and you said he was

this is funny....you get busted and are now trying to put if on me

lmao

"you get busted "

Oh...but it's not a "gotcha" moment.

Okay, Yurtie...

stop following me around and pointing out gotcha moments.....if you can't understand the difference in showing someone the stupidity of something then you're simple....and if you want to call that a gotcha moment....go for it

as i said.....who cares, no one but you....apparently you have a fetish for following me around the board and jumping up and down proclaiming you caught me in another gotcha moment....

that you can't the irony in your own gotcha is FUNNY

Did or did not the war based economy ultimately get us out of the depression? If it did then it was due to the MASSIVE military build up and the industry that ramped up during the war. So, why not just build the most massive military the world has ever seen? Make joining the military even more inviting and recruit LOTS of service members. Build a whole new navy, an entirely new air force, bigger better tanks, etc and lets recover. We don't even really need to use it. My bet is liberals would hate that kind of spending pacakage.
