YES! WE CAN!

Just to keep you guys posted..... Since becoming president, Barack Obama has made good on his pledge to lower taxes on working Americans! As of the latest unemployment figures, over 2 million people have lost their jobs since Obama took office! That means there are 2 million people who now pay $0 in Federal Income Tax! Isn't that GREAT news?

I bet, by re-election time, there will be tens of millions who are no longer being burdened with taxes on their income, because they won't have an income to tax!

Yea! Obama is the GREATEST!
 
Haha... as one who has lost his job with Obama in office (relax I'm not blaming him just as I didn't credit Bush when I got the job) I appreciate not paying any taxes. However this is one time where I say I wish I was paying taxes because it would mean I'd be employed.

bullshit, you pay tax on unemployment insurance benefits, which are $25 per week higher thanks to Obama's stimulus package. And unemployment benefits have been extended as well so more taxes :clink:
 
Actually, MANY more than that, Dix. Despite your contention that people making under $200K a year hardly matter & never really pay taxes, most of them actually do (on both counts), and all have received a tax cut under Obama.

Nah - he cut taxes for all of those people who you told me don't matter, because they hardly pay any taxes at all. You know who I'm talking about - MOST Americans. It's only the millionaires, apparently, who should get tax cuts in Dixieland...

Obama signed the largest 2-year federal tax cut in history; it was called the stimulus. Maybe you missed it?

stimulus?....you mean the $700+ billion he spent?.....we are asking about tax cuts, not spending increases....I expect if he had passed the largest tax cut in history someone might have mentioned it, don't you?.....so yes, we and everyone else missed it......

You mean the stimulus that didn't stimulate? I suppose these taxes being cut don't actually exist either, huh? And these "jobs" that the stimulus was supposed to create, they are mythical too, no doubt. Wow, this is a pretty fucking amazing set up Obama has! We'll soon have government-run healthcare we can't get! ...I bet he can even increase the values of our non-existent 401k's if he wants! If this concept catches on, I bet Obama can win the war on terror, drugs, and poverty, without even fighting them! Amazing!! :eek:

uh, Onceler.....there was no tax cut for everyone earning $200k a year or less, they merely revised the withholding tables....they take less out of your paycheck each week but your refund check next spring will be smaller....you pay the same amount in taxes.....

now maybe if you're a first time home buyer and you qualify for the tax credit....then your in luck.....or if you "go green" and remodel your house.....but no, no general tax cut....
