Why would you equate the BLM protesters -- who were not the violent ones -- with the terrorists who attacked the Capitol and tried to overturn an American presidential election because their assclown lost bigly? There is no commonality other than violence.

TIME FOR NEW RULES!

The Washington DC Police are requiring a permit for the protest event, and also requiring individual registration online to attend the event.

This sets a new precedent on how to prevent violence, and one that is long overdue.

So no one may just show up without a permit to attend. This way anti-protestors may not interfere or cause trouble for the protestors or they will be whisked away and possibly arrested.

I hope cities across the country will adapt these new rules as their own.

Only 700 people are registered to attend today's events. SO far, it don't look like they all showed up yet.

There have already been some anti-protestors removed from the event area.

So far, it Looks like everything is working out great for the protestors and the City.

The protestors are being protected by the police as designed.

If everyone remains peaceful, this will play out, and life will move on.

But, I see NEW RULES coming in the way of addressing WHO SHOULD PAY FOR THE NECESSARY PREPARATIONS, SECURITY, and clean up FOR THESE PROTEST EVENTS.

Because this is a huge expense.

From now on, I suspect if you want to schedule a protest and acquire a permit to protest, then you will have to chalk it up for the preparations, security, and clean up that these kinds of events require.

The criminals in J6 are getting justice in courts across the country. I doubt any big talkers here will be at DC today.
