It hadn't occurred to me before- because the staggeringly throwback Texas law wasn't previously imaginable- but how about every Texas politician who supports banning the abortion of unwanted children is obliged to adopt the unwanted kids ? Once they've adopted their quota- say ten unwanted kids each- then they become obliged to pay for the upkeep of the unwanted child in somebody else's home.

Would that be a just test of their concern for fetuses ?
