ib1, i do not mean this question as an attack on you or an attempt to put you down I am just honestly curious. First I know what its like to be defensive about someone you voted for because I do it a lot. And this is not to say because everything thinks one way they are right but on this thread consisting of men and women you are the only one who doesn't think Obama is looking at the girl (which again doesn't automatically mean that you are wrong).

You say all evidence to the contrary but men know when you check out an ass you don't stare right at it. It's like Magic Johnson on the basketball court, he may be looking right but he'll throw the pass to the left.

I'm not trying to judge I am just honestly curious on this occassion what makes you think he's not looking?
 
The line of his head makes me think he's not looking.

It's shot with a very long lens, which compresses the image to give an illusion that his head is looking at her ass. If he is looking, he's looking out of the very far corner of his eye. The video proves this is true.

I was a photojournalist for some number of years and I could show you a dozen pictures like this one where people look like they're doing something they're not because of the angle and unfortunate timing.

It's a funny picture because it was taken at a funny angle with a very long lens and caught the president at such a time where one could construe it the way you guys are construing it. It's simply not reality. The video shows that if he's looking, it would be with his peripheral vision at best. What's far more likely is he's doing exactly what it shows him doing -- he's helping a woman step down the stairs.

They are just as desperate to protect Obama from everything, even stuff that nobody is hassling him about, as you appear to be. He snuck a peak and got caught, at least that what it appears to me even with the video (in fact especially with the video, I know that thrill when you get that look with solid plausible deniability..). Dude, it's obvious to anyone who's not blind and is capable of watching the video that Obama wasn't looking at her. If you want to argue he was peering out of the very corner of his eye and watching her without making it look like he was looking, then you've already made the concession that it doesn't look like he was looking at her. You've already made this argument, by the way.

The video clearly shows that he wasn't looking at her and the picture was an illusion that misrepresented the reality.

It is not "obvious" except to people who really want to desperately believe that perfection resides in a human who they voted for. To me the video clearly shows a dude sneaking a peak.
