so I have to embarrass a college grad to get through to the GED's.
1. Average college grad salary vs hs. Everybody knows about Gates, he's also a genius which nobody here is.
2. you gonna discourage your kids from college cause you can name a couple who beat the odds.
The difference in lifetime earnings is in the millions, and that's not counting the greater cultural divide which is on display in all it's redneck glory here.

1. You have no idea if people here have genius or not.
2. Nobody has suggested they would discourage their children from going to college, just that it is no sign of intelligence as you so desperately want to believe. The world is full of college grad failures, some of them are on the corner with signs.
While statistically you will do better if you graduate college, reality proves that many who do not are just as successful and sometimes even more so. Do you really believe that a statistic of higher earnings is related to intelligence?
