In Sarah Palin's statement upon her decision to step down as governor she mentioned that the most recent attack on her special needs son became a part of her decision to resign.

The kinds of attacks she endured not just personally, but most especially against her family was disgusting. I witnessed so many posters in this and the aol forum defend these attacks to the point of hypocritical absurdity it almost seemed unreal.

I forget whether her name was tracks, trig or moose butt?
btw the name thing is a reflection on the parent not the child.

What right do you have to stand in judgement of a brave young girl trying to communicate the realities of premarital sex? Your need to minimize your part in the liberall hate and malicious attacks against this woman's family proves my point.

BTW, from the time Obama took office to July 2nd the National debt is now 11,489,560,999,310.74. It won't take long for Obama to surpass Bush by a wide margin.

If john McCain Made sexually disgusting remarks or mocked a young woman for trying to turn a difficult struggle into a positive message, or for photo shopping a special needs baby's picture into a crude characture?...Then hell yes, he's an asshole for doing so.

The only thing that is "open and transparent" about the anti-right, is their obvious hatred for anything that is associated with the Republican party.

I'm sure that this will now open the flood gates on "photos" and jokes about President Obama's children.
Then and only then will you see anything that comes close to them being disgusted.

Yes, politics are ugly and made even uglier when assholes support the ugliness of assholes attacking Sarah Palin's family. Or the other tactic which is to point to a single comment made 12 years ago as a possible comparison to make excuse for, mitigate, or otherwise justify the unbelievable level of nasty and vicious attacks against Sarah Palin's children.

See, if you had said "what people have said and done to Sarah Palin's family is despicable and I didn't like it any better when McCain said what he did". That would have been fair and decent. Instead you attempted to lay some stupid fucking trap and then you end it with gee wiz yeah politics is ugly....whatever dude.

In Sarah Palin's resignation announcement she complained about the treatment of her son Trig who always teaches her life lessons. She said that the "world needs more Trigs, not fewer." That's a presidential campaign promise we can all get behind. She will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people. To me, it's kinda like saying the world needs more cancer patients because they teach us such personal lessons.

Her first act as President: To introduce a Pre-K lunch buffet that includes lead paint chips. Sort of a Large HEAD-START Program.

She will then encourage women to hold off on pregnancies until their 40's just to mix up some chromosomes.

She now is in favor of abortion only in case of diploid birth.

Her policies will increase jobs because Wal-Mart is building new stores each day and someone has to be the greeter.

This will lead to smaller government because fewer Americans will have the cognitive ability to hold a government job.

Look, she says she's resigning as governor because people are making attacks on her and Trig. If she ever did become president, all Osama bin Laden would have to do to defeat the United States is Photoshop a picture of Trig and she'd surrender the country that night. As she said, "That's not politics as usual." It isn't. Politicians don't usually quit for so stupid of reasons.
