According to the media outlet, Johansen's wife, Cindy Johansen, died a week earlier on August 10.
Although Chris Johansen has not publicly confirmed his wife's death, a Maine Republican Party spokesperson told the Daily Beast that she had passed away."

We are simply going to be seeing more and more of this stuff until the pandemic is over.
The more resistance there is from the anti-vax crowd, the longer the virus will be out of control, the more dangerous it becomes with new variants, the less patience the rest of us have with the unvaccinated, the more vaccine mandates we will be seeing.
That anti-vax crowd is bringing this on themselves!
If they had simply done the right thing in the first place we would have this thing totally under control.

False. The Federal Government wants to protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. Hopefully private businesses will also ban the unvaccinated. They have a right to make that decision. They do not have the right to avoid the consequences of that choice.

No. Not the same rate. One fifth of the rate. Vaccines protect against hospitalization AND infection. You are five times more likely to become infected if you are unvaccinated. And the unvaccinated are far more likely to wear a mask. So no that is not ridiculous. It is completely logical. This disease is spreading because people are not getting vaccinated. Period.
