Suddenly the right wingers lover Helen Thomas and her "real reporting" because she takes the same position with this administration that she took with the former administration? Hilarious. I think Helen's right, but then again I thought she was right before Obama became president, too.

And "so called faux transparency" doesn't mean what you think it means.

I've never commented on Helen Thomas before today asshole. All I said was: "even Helen Thomas said it has NEVER been so controlled" because that's what she said and she is old enough and been around long enough to know. It's a fair rationale and only a kneejerk idiot could find fault with it.

I realize that you probably haven't ever commented on Helen Thomas before. That's my point. Suddenly she's your fucking hero when she's been doing the same shit for a long, long time.

And pretending that this Obama town hall is more tightly controlled that the Bush town halls is pretty laughable. Even Helen Thomas was corrected on that score with someone pointing out that THIS WHITE HOUSE, has never exercised such control before.
 
Helen Thomas is a fair and ballanced journalist... for those of you blinded by Fox News.

I know you conservatives are blinded by the fact that you see anything left of the far right fox news as a liberal bias... but its not true. Being in the a neutral observer, as Helen Thomas is, makes you far left of Fox news.

What a stupid knee jerk! The only point you make is that 2+2 don't equal 4 in your partisan universe! Helen Thomas went on record vehemently disagreeing with you that Town Hall's have been this controlled before. And since you are too thick and too partisan to understand how her age and length of time covering Town Halls carries weight, I'll let you spin this away for all to see.

If one wants to play devil's advocate and put an opposite partisan spin on this Helen Thomas is no 'fucking hero' (though personally I do like the multitude of f-bombs you like to drop as I'm a big fan and user of the word myself) for what she did yesterday but it did gain her a modicum of respect that she herself is not such a partisan.

And some Bush-Obama comparisons are tough now because 8 years and 5 months aren't equal time to compare. But when Obama runs on this anti-Bush platform and on changing many of the things that Bush did that turned off so many people I don't see why its surprising when he gets called out for engaging in similar acts to Bush. And then to say well Obama is doing just what Bush did kind of completely misses the mark.

I agree. Which is why I said that Helen Thomas is right for calling Obama out on this for doing the same shit Bush did.

What Ice Dancer is trying to claim is that Obama is doing something brand new and never tried before, which is horseshit.
