Sandy Hook is a school. On Dec 14, 2012, a mental case on withdrawal from mind altering drugs entered the gun free zone at the school with a Bushmaster rifle and two pistols and killed 27 people and wounded 2, reloading frequently while doing so, then shot himself. The total event lasted about 5 minutes.
Afterwards people blamed video games, the gun manufacturers, etc. Never addressing the issue of the mind altering drug his psychoquack was prescribing him, and never addressing the fact that all the guns used in the shooting were stolen.
