How many of you cultists here on JPP have Twitter or YouTube accounts? When were you banned? What was the last stupid thing you said that got you unplugged?

Two things: 1.) Even a five-year-old understands cause and effect better than these idiots. 2.) Some of them are really dumb enough to believe the anti-mask, anti-vax crap they post. Others do it on purpose to appeal to their uneducated voters and to make themselves a martyr for "free speech".

Ban 'em all. Let the dumbasses boycott social media. It will become so much more pleasant to interact online when they shut the fuck up.

Part of me thinks these knuckleheads are intentionally breaking the rules of the social media companies as a fund raising tactic and to get higher visibility and street cred in the greater Trumposphere..
 
Amazing how stupid people called the Covid virus a hoax, played it down, refused the available vaccines, and stood in the way of mitigating it, in lock step, tooth and nail, for the last 20 months- all to the beat of Donald Trump's drum.

Ironically, the Covid virus has become a pandemic for the stupid, as they are the most vulnerable, and have become the main target for it now!

His own father named him Rand- After Ayn Rand of all things- Mother of Libertarian psychobabble. But you are right he won't call himself a Libertarian because he knows that- as a Political party platform in America, it is dead on arrival. Same reason why Cruz nor any other Republican won't make the same claim.

But go try to put that to practical use re-enforced by a government, and you will see a million reasons how the evil will exploit it and abuse it until the lunatic fringes meet all the way into the middle core!

I think the only places where they have some effect is on crowded public transport. My daughter in law thinks that how she got it a few months back.

I think some masks do have some effect at containing the virus, but they must be sealed against a person's face. Many, even those that can be effective, are not completely sealed, as can easily be seen on the wearer.

That sums it up nicely. Whereas Rand was my favorite author some 40 years ago before I was interested in politics, she writes fantasy.

That's the problem with the Rand wing of the Republican party. As you mentioned, Libertarianism cannot be practically applied to any society.

You have to love how after centuries of infrastructure spending by the Feds, Libertarians now want to take over because it's the best way to run the nation.

If we were run as they fantasize about, there would be no roads or bridges. They hate when you tell them to research the Erie Canal. It kind of ruins their whole day.
