I understand that you wish to excuse his shot that killed her. He remains responsible for her death, however. Why was he only threatened by her? There are others in the video....Why not shoot them? Only his hand with the bracelet and gun is visible.... she's nowhere near him, is she? Why not just fire a warning shot into the air if you feel the need to shoot?

Why should I wish to excuse his shot that killed her? Her own action is what killed her. If they hadn't stormed the Capitol, threatening everyone's lives, nobody would have died.

The warnings have been there the whole time. Did they listen? Nope.

The cop screamed at them to stop and said he was going to shoot the first one through the door. Babbit won. Are rightys saying he picked her out deliberately? It makes no sense. Babbit died because she was caught up in an insurrection and paid the price. The cop was cleared.

Keep in mind, as well, that every last one of these AshliiWasInnocent trolls are racist and have never written a single post condemning the shooting of any unarmed black guy that you can name. George Floyd deserved to die in the street on his face with a cop's knee on his neck because he may or may not have passed a counterfeit bill. But storming-the-Capitol-with-the-intent-to-kill-the-VP-and-overturn-the-election-because-their-tyrant-lost Ashlii is innocent and her "murderer" deserves their wrath.
