Obama Apology Tour

Damo, Southern Man is retarded. You're wasting your time. Even if you could produce Washington's secret diary where he reveals he doesn't believe in anything but a diestic God and he says "I think Jesus was fiction" SM would attempt to spin it. He'd say something like, "Well, Washington knew his diary would be found some day and he was trying to protect his image in the eyes of history by lying about what he really felt!" Something totally stupid like that.

Nothing you could say could convince him that we're not a Christian nation. Just like no amount of evidence you could produce could convince Dixie that man has common ancestry with corn.
You are wasting your time queer boy since Damo and I share something in common: we both consider you a shit-poster.

A deist? *shrug*

The best scholarly info I could find puts the Old Testament's most recent writings at around 2BC.

A lot was in the Old Testament (including prophesies about Jesus) but Jesus was not in the Old Testament.

Chapter & Verse?

The New Testament Gospels tell the story of his birth.

I would think that your expertise on the Bible would have you quoting me chapter and verse!

Yes, Solitary, the New Testament tells the story of the birth of God as a man. The Old Testament records a number of pre-Bethlehem appearances of Christ Jesus as the Angel of the Lord (these appearances are commonly referred to as theophanies or Christophanies).

Below are recorded many of these pre-Bethlehem appearances. If you would like to read the account of the events as recorded in the Holy Bible, just click on the appropriate link.

A deist would not set a day aside for a nation to worship God. Duh.

So Washington would only have done something that fit within his own religious beliefs?

Yes a deist would set aside a day of giving thanks to god.
