Go straight to the source, dumbass.

Teri Jacobs shared that in a letter to the mayor this week. Video, shared with KATU by Full Rev Media, showed an officer pushing her to the ground before hitting her on the head with his baton. The director of the Independent Police Review confirmed his office is reviewing the incident.

"I’m doing my very best to get to the sidewalk, and it feels like it doesn’t matter where I am, what I do, these police officers are going to run me over, ram into me,” Jacobs said of the August incident.

Why do dumb cunts like you think violence can be dealt with by hugging cop hating thugs? Be less of a dumb fuck.

A team lieutenant called Chief Chuck Lovell to inform him the members of the team, who serve voluntarily in the assignments, voted to resign due to perceived lack of support from City Hall and from the district attorney over the past year during more than 100 consecutive nights of protest coverage, according to the mayor’s office and officers.

Entire Portland Police Rapid Response Team Resigns After Officer Indicted for Breaking Up Antifa Riot

Following the criminal indictment of a fellow officer, the entire Portland Police Rapid Response Team made the unanimous decision to resign, according to police sources via Portland news outlet KXL.

Cory Budworth, 40, is the first officer in the county to be prosecuted for using force during a violent protest.

Good. I hope that fucking shit hole burns to the ground.

The police were clearing the area and she--thinking wrongly that "journalists" were somehow exempt--didn't get away from the cops. We don't know if there was any verbal interaction either. This is one of those situations like the cops in Buffalo knocking that old man to the ground that looks bad to the untrained eye but isn't what it appears when you understand the full thinking and interaction of all parties.

It wouldn't have happened if she'd stayed away from the cops. Given that Portland is having nightly riots I'd say the police are likely to have become jaded to the whole thing where they see anyone not staying away from them as a threat. I think you'd be that way too after many nights of what's going on there.

As for worry, if they see this guy's actions as part of their practice and training, then they should be worried that they're next. We're doing what we trained to do and now we're getting arrested for it...

She was trying to get away as clearly seen in this video. But go right ahead and excuse the cop's behavior.

What exactly is an "activist" photographer?

That's her view. Watch the video carefully. She's taking photos with a smart phone. When the officer approaches, she turns to run. That's too little, too late. You've failed to clear the area so the officer knocks her down and then hits her again as she spins around possibly trying to get up. From his perspective, I'd say he sees her as not following police orders. Running after the cops come towards you is too late. It's like an officer approaches you. You recognize the officer has singled you out for something so you run. That gives the officer reason to chase you now because you fled after recognizing he was coming for you.
It doesn't matter if you're some punk on the street, or a "journalist" at a riot. She waited too long to get the hell away from the cops.

You'd make a good defense attorney for the cop.

to a moron. antifa is not really a group. from what i can tell, those who identify with them, generally, do not support violence, but some do. the ones that do support violence are as bad as the assholes who show up at BLM protests and loot and vandalize.

There's one chapter. How many more would you like to see?

Good question. Aren't all photojournalists "activist"? Like Andy Ngo?

No. Activist journalists of any sort are as much participants as recorders of events. A true journalist is not involved in the event but rather a dispassionate observer. Ngo fits in the latter category far more than the former.
