Terrible news for the Creation Science museum (and Republicans)

The scientific method is not called falsifiability. No.

didn't say it was, idiot.....do you actually know anything at all about science?.......if something is not capable of experimentation (ie is not falsifiable) it cannot be subject to the scientific method.......it is then, not a subject for study by science.......

Of course you don’t want to play lol.

Practically everyone would make the gravity claim.

On earth, entities with mass fall towards the center of the earth.

On earth, the geology demonstrates that species changed through time.

Those are observations. And only observations.

We have 100 percent certainty in both observations.

But observations do not have explanatory power.

The theory that curvature of spacetime manifests as gravity is no more secure a theory, than the theory speciation results from natural selection and gene flow.

Both are generally on equal footing as far as theories go.

Practically everyone would make the gravity claim.

"Physicists want to squeeze little old gravity into the standard model—the crown-jewel theory of modern physics that explains three other fundamental forces in physics—but none has succeeded. Like a runt at a pool party, gravity just doesn't fit in when using Einstein's theory of relativity, which explains gravity only on large scales

"Gravity is completely different from the other forces described by the standard model," said Mark Jackson, a theoretical physicist at Fermilab in Illinois. "When you do some calculations about small gravitational interactions, you get stupid answers. The math simply doesn't work."

Even though there is no consensus on how to measure gravity or what it is exactly.

oh, lol lol lol lol

It was a simple claim and not a thesis on the ultimate nature of gravity. You know which you’d make because you don’t want to risk being croc bait lol.

And I wouldn’t blame you a bit.

Your philosophy of science is *your* philosophy of science lol.
Irrelevant. Bulverism fallacy.
The rest of us accept that evolution falls under the rubric of science.
You are free to try to define 'science'. Let's see your philosophy.
Science has no theories about past unobserved events. They are not falsifiable. We can't go back in time to see what actually happened.
My argument is that it has elements of an historical account.
So? No different than many religions.

Detectives cannot go in past to see what happened at crime scenes either. I guess we should let all the murderers go free.

First, it's billions with a "B". Second, the evidence is fossil evidence and dating tech like carbon dating.

What do you have to support your "theories"?

Carbon dating has never been tested to that length of time. There is no way of knowing any accuracy.
Fossils do not contain genealogical information. So the only evidence a fossil gives as that an animal or plant existed at one time. Meh.

Circular argument fallacy (fundamentalism). The Theory of Evolution is a religion. Science has no theories about past unobserved events.

I have never had a problem with the status of some sciences being historical in content, aka paleontology, cosmology, paleoanthropology.

That does not diminish them in any way.

You haven't listed a single theory of science yet.
Circular argument fallacy (fundamentalism). Buzzword fallacies.

You’re 100% certain man evolved from a less evolved human form. And you are as certain of that as you are the Apple will fall from the tree? And you’re so sure if it, you would risk the crocodile pit over it.

Fascinating. We have some brave souls participating in this thread lol
