Barack Obama told a French Canal Plus reporter that the US is one of the world's largest Muslim countries. Guess the teleprompter was not working again.




Maybe those muslims are all living in those 7 other states that Obama said we have.

Topper, do you have any doubts that if Christ was to come back today and start preaching that these wingnuts would line up in droves to crucify him?

Bad stereotype. This is one of the things that Jews work against. "Christ Killer" is a pejorative term for Jewish people. You may want to rethink this post.

While the leaders of their church called for his crucifixion and pushed Pilate into making that choice, the "Jews" did not crucify Christ.

Rethought and I stand by my post. The leaders of the jewish church were jews? They were responsible for his death, Pilate gave them an out and they wanted Jesus executed. And I think it was more than just the leaders. It was the conservative jews. The liberal Jews liked Jesus.

I pulled a good one today. I was at the local cigar shop in Dublin having a smoke with the guys (Jim Furic actually came in after playing in the first round of the Memorial and bought a box). We were watching the news coverage of Obama's speech today when a wingnut walked in and said "What's he selling now?". With out missing a beat I yelled "Chickenhawks!". Everyone cracked up and the wingnut left in a huff. LOL

When were we ever a Christian country? I guess I missed that one, it isn't in any of our very important documents and the Tripoli agreement basically states that we are not a Christian nation.

I know you believe we are, but tell me, first, what is a Christian to you?

One who follows Jesus, the Nazarene? or the teachings of Paul?

Are you a modern Capitalist? The Friedman type?

Do you think the teachings of Jesus and the type of Capitalism practiced in the USA are in sync?

Are not all religions allowed to practice in the US? We were once known as the great melting pot.

Does it bother you that conversion to Islam is happening at a greater rate these days than conversion to Christianity?

Do you realize that the largest Muslim nation is generally friendly to the USA?
Especially since we gave aide?

The gospel that blames the Jews was written by someone who was trying to pedal the Gentiles and the new religion.

The things that are detailed in some of the gospels would just plain never have happened, like the Sanhedrin meeting on a holy day like the Passover! Ridiculous!
