I honestly believe the only reason Biden's ratings aren't in the tank is most people disliked/hated Trump. So it's more TGINT (Thank God it's not Trump.) than anything else.

I don't see Biden resigning unless he has a serious health issue. At his age, it is more likely than other presidents, but he is slim and exercises and seems to take care of himself so who knows.
