FL and TX - two biggest COVID hotspots in the country

Which is exactly what Texas did too because no one knew what to do about old people getting COVID, thanks to you and Trump downplaying it for three months before it became a pandemic.

COVID-19 ravaged Texas nursing homes. Here are the stories behind the numbers.
When the COVID-19 pandemic reached Texas last spring, administrators in the state’s 1,200 nursing homes scrambled to keep up with daily changes to state and federal guidelines on how to keep the virus from invading their facilities, while staffers donned full protective gear to keep from spreading the virus between patient rooms. Facilities were locked down, isolating vulnerable residents from their families for a year.

1 out of every 5 COVID deaths in Texas were in Nursing Homes, and in the first couple months of the pandemic in Texas, half of all deaths were in nursing homes.
They had no excuse. They should have learned from NY, but they opted to hold super spreader events and refused mayors the ability to impose mask mandates.

Do Conservatives think it's an own to point out that NY's deaths happened in the first two months, but TX and FL's happened over 16?

That’s wrong on so many levels but it’s not worth responding to.
yep.
I love the fact "cant take up hospital rooms" after Trump built them extra hospital beds that Cuomo refused to use

But there is only so much brain dead partisanship I can reply to -pity he actually think NY did a good job
Meanwhile Florida kids had a year extra in school while blue states shut them out to virtual

Trump didn't build SHIT, and it didn't matter what he tried to do after you and he both lied about COVID for three months, saying it was a hoax that was no worse than the flu, and that it could be treated by taking a miracle drug or injecting bleach into your veins.

Once the restrictions were in place, NY flattened all of its curves.

FL and TX didn't heed that, which is why the number of deaths that happened in NY in 2 months were spread out over 16 months in those two states.

FL leads the nation in new cases, infection rate, and deaths...and they have for over two months.

And for all its bluster, FL's economy is worse than CA and NY's right now.

CA and NY's GDP growth last quarter far outpaced that of FL and TX's.

FL and TX didn't shut anything down, as you've said, which is why every other state that did shut down is seeing an economic boom, while FL and TX are not.

Fake News. Stop pushing propaganda. Argument from randU fallacy. Fear mongering.

One thing you never do on threads is actually debate using facts.

What you do is try to dismiss everyone's post that you cannot debate by lazily referring to random fallacies (that you also don't explain).

That's after running your argument into the ground under your other IDs.

So you give yourself fake authority to dismiss the posts you cannot argue against.

You should just not respond because doing this kind of shit hurts your cause more than helps it.

Not really. The problem Florida faces is that it never really shut down in the first place, so it's not going to experience the same economic boost other states have because their reaction to COVID was different.

Basically, those Blue States have nowhere else to go but up once they reopen, but states like FL and TX have nowhere else to go but down.

So the middling economies they've had the last year or so, that people like DeSantis are trying to say is terrific growth (when it's not) will continue while other states, like CA, will see big increases to their economic growth.
really well fl is doing fine

Conservatives depend on the fact that nobody will scrutinize their claims. It works in their circle jerks because none of them are capable, nor used to relying on facts.

As such, they throw out random numbers that they've seen on Hannity, and assume that nobody knows that they are clueless as to the facts.

Unfortunately for them, they're in the wrong company here.

Case in point about brain dead Conservatives trying to run a line of shit, hoping that you wouldn't have any knowledge about the topic.

Heard it on Fox 'News', and spread the lie as often as possible.

The ship, emblazoned with red crosses on its white hull, will not treat coronavirus patients, but will take on other patients including trauma cases, freeing up beds at local hospitals focused on combating the pandemic. It will have 750 beds ready to treat patients immediately.

750 beds were a drop in the bucket at the peak of NY's trump virus outbreak.

Morons, who just don't realize that this crap does not fly here.

Hospitals were discharging patients back into nursing homes before the USS Comfort ever docked in NY
