Fauci said they had identified all the genetic changes needed for the virus to evolve from bat to human. THAT IS A FLAT OUT LIE. The intermediate steps needed to evolve have not be discovered. There should have been many of them. The fact that COVID 19 were all alike early on points to a single lab origin not many many mutations needed to evolve naturally.

I'm sure the Chinese doctor did not want to deal with made-up stories about the origin of the virus. He had plenty of real work to do. Trump was trying to blame China for everything to divert from his ignoring the disease. and not preparing. He was told it was coming in November and retold in December. Trump golfed and held rallies where he downplayed it over and over.

Apart from the fact it could implicate Fauci, there were plenty of political reasons to dismiss the lab origin theory. In that sense, you are actually projecting with the ‘Trump was trying to divert’ bit.

Trump WAS the diversion, as it turns out. He had to be, the election was coming up and Trump needed to be tied to the virus. There was also the Orange Man Always Wrong aspect but it played a lessor political role in this instance.

Consequently, Big Tech removed any reference to the lab origin theory in order to protect Fauci and to keep any heat from be deflected from Trump and towards the CCP. So, you are projecting.

As a sidebar, if Big Tech is going to run interference for the government then they should be subjected to all laws relating to the First Amendment.
