Reporters admit dismissing Wuhan lab leak theory in part because Republicans proposed

Yes it was a novel virus designed to attack people. So doctors had to learn how to treat it.

Viruses aren't 'designed', they occur in nature. They attack other organisms. Duh. Your suggestion this is manmade is utter bullshit, completely unsubstantiated.

Viruses that have had GOF additions to them are in fact designed.. Dr. Shi designed CORONA virus that attacks human cells in the airway of mice. COVID 19 attacks the airway in humans. You live in a dream land

Well the bat lady was creating CORONA virus that attacked humanized mice. Mice with human cells in their airways.

I need a source of that lady, please.

And the spike proteins in the Covid virus bind with the Ace receptors in the airway of both mice and humans. In fact, there’s no other plausible reason they would use humanized mice except to see if the spike proteins would bind in human airways.

Sherlock Holmes has to be rolling over in his grave at some of the willful blindness that goes on with this.

I give the frontline docs an A.

Medical bureaucracy should be summarily fired.

SO many do not get and A....it was not all their fault because the authoritarians who run the hospitals often forbid them from not following the recipe that was designed by the government for COVID treatment, or threatened them with say losing their profession......but too many doctors went along with what they could clearly see was not working....and failed to attempt to come up with better treatments....they failed to push back.

The nurses get an A.

Quoting a guy who doesn't have a fucking clue is not 'circumstantial evidence'. It's bullshit.

"Experts have suspected the SARS-CoV-2 virus similarly originated in bats. Researchers in China — including at the Wuhan Institute of Virology — have said the virus shares 96% of its genome with a bat virus collected by researchers in 2013 in Yunnan Province, China. (While that’s quite similar, Dr. Stanley Perlman, a professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Iowa who studies coronaviruses and a pediatric infectious disease physician, told us it would be “impossible” to take such a virus and make the kind of changes required to turn it into SARS-CoV-2 in a lab. One would need a virus that’s 99.9% similar, and “in theory it might work.”"

So, if the virus discovered in 2013 was .1 percent different than the CoV-2 virus 'in theory, it might work'. It is not even CLOSE to that. There is no way that virus could have been manipulated in the lab and made into Covid-19. It's bullshit, but you cherrypicked someone saying maybe and that settled it for you. Glad you never treated me or a family member. You must have sucked at your job.

Dr. Perlman isn't a virologist and has no clue what kind of virus they started with. You are a fool. The fact that COVID has a furin and that is EXACT how Dr. Shi manipulated viruses in the past and the fact that no other SARS virus have furins should be all you need to know but you are a fool and seem incapable of even basic virology. Sorry you are beyond help. :legion:
