We don't wish to make the Palestinians slaves or subjects or captives. We want ALL people to be free, but that starts with the Israeli right to be free in their homeland and not the subjects of a harsh and hostile Islamic bigotry.

And if it takes a thousand years before the Israelis are finally free, freedom is worth it.

Soooo.....we should have given the Japanese nukes in 1945 to make it fair? LOL

Sorry, but I'm not accepting the argument that if someone shot at me and missed or my armor blocked it, that means it's okay. I would take down the shooter as quickly as I could. I do not fault the Israelis for shooting back and neutralizing threats to their citizens.

Sorry, Truman. Disagreed. It was a nasty war and the sooner it ended, the better for everyone. Example: the rape of Nanking was 8 years earlier. Up to 300,000 dead. The carnage keep happening right up until the end. Global war deaths numbered 70,000,000-85,000,000 dead people.

The death tolls are mind-boggling, the world was going broke and the entire system was on the verge of collapse. It was important to end the war by any means possible ASAP.
