I was born in Korea and have lived there for more than half of my life. Koreans are generally racist, but they're not more racist than white Americans, in my opinion. An important difference is that in the US, white Americans are not everywhere. In Korea, everyone is Korean (and the same for Japan and other Asian countries) (there are some exceptions for tourists and service members, of course, but I think you know what I mean).
I think that Korea Koreans know that they're racist. Since you've been there or lived there, you don't need me to tell you that. That's evil in and of itself, but in the US, I would dare to say that most white people won't even acknowledge that racism exists.
Besides delusional, that is cancerous to society. It actually prevents us from even talking to and understanding each other.
What I'm trying to say is that for my entire life, Americans in the US and abroad have tended to think that their shit doesn't stink because we accept immigrants and refugees and let Indian people cook curry in the apartment next door and passed a civil rights bill almost six decades ago. "Better", if that's what we think we are, is not "good enough". "Progress" does not mean "we've gone far enough".
