So, the sudden change of orientation away from confrontational or oppositional posts to one which is more reasonable, is a ploy which takes advantage of our genial natures to get us to compromise our principles too much some day and then the same sliding that occurred over decades in the General Society will also take place here.

What he and Uncle Fester are doing is very clever and can be very effective.

That's why those three are on ignore. To call attention to their attempt to change their spots. Some newb might come here and side with them on issues believing they are MAGA approved.
