Who agrees with Cheney?

Brovo seems to have forgotten the real reason for invading and occupying Iraq.
To bring them democracy ;)

btw we have a treaty against overthrowing American nations, but it does not apply to Iraq.

We can dream up all sorts of reasons for the Iraq war...make em up all day long if it floats your boat....
The only "real" reason for us should be the one stated in the War Resolution...the one voted on by R's and D's ....the one PASSED by a democratic vote by both partys....
Haven't read the Res. lately, democracy might be there....lol

and again...did any of those democrats advocate invading conquering and occupying Iraq?

Oh, didn't you know....that's irrelevent to Neocon buffoons like Bravo...they just isolate whatever part of history they like and then ignore or deny the rest. The little stupe has no interest in HJ Res114 or UN Article 51.

Bravado thinks that congress ordered the troops to invade and occupy Iraq. The fools did hand that option off to bush though.
It was not Bush's only option, but what HE CHOSE to do.
And Bush was VERY VERY strongly backed by the Republicans for his decision.
Not nearly so strongly backed by the Democratic citizens of the USA though.

The desperate move by the righties to push the blame off on the Dems in congress is just further proof that the Republican myth of personal responsibility is just a lie.

For some reason they think that it's OK that the anti-right vote for it; but since the anti-right didn't VERBALLY say that it was OK, that that makes the anti-right innocent.

hey dickbreath... a MAJORITY of congressional democrats voted AGAINST the use of force resolution.

A little trivia...though its as irrelevant as mm's whine.....

As a party, the Democrats helped pass the Iraqi War Resolution.....FACT

111 Democrats voted FOR the resolution.......................................FACT

A Democratic MAJORITY in the Senate voted FOR the Resolution....FACT

It could NOT have passed without significant Democratic support....FACT

Now spin away.......these are the facts....

the FACT is: a MAJORITY of democrats in congress voted AGAINST the use of force resoulution. All but a handful of republicans voted for it.

spin that any way you want.

1. Yes.
2&3. I think you mean "torture", yet the enhanced interrogation techniques approved by Cheney and Pelosi do not meet the definition of torture. The approved techniques were necessary, and did in fact save American lives.

it is telling that obama has never denied cheney saying that the enhanced techniques did gain important intelligence and saved lives....you would think obama would be all over that

instead obama pusses out and makes a fluff comment that, well...we could have gotten that information other ways....

nice, makes a comment that can never been proven true or false, kind of like, i will create or save 1 BILLION jobs...
