(1) I think we know the cop was male, I heard that on the news (?) (2) And, it is clear from the circumstances shown in the video that he did not need to use lethal force against Ashli Babbitt at the time he fired the fatal shot. Surely, if the cop was male, and Babbit was an unarmed female the cop could have restrained her.

I can't come up with any reasonable justification for why he had to shoot her through the neck (and kill her) in the situation he wanred to deal with. Namely, AShli Babbitt was trying to clamber through a space of some kind ,apparently making her way towards the Congressional Chamber; why didn't the cop just physically restrain her and if necessary handcuff her or immobilise her in some approved way, etc She a girl FFS ?


Finally, I have a strong hunch that the cop who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt was a POC, probably an African American. And if that was the case, identifying him and investigating him, might generate a lot of hot, political blowback for the Democrats especially all of the woke, BLM Inc. , "systematic racism" and racial equity BULLSHIT that they are yapping about.

Maybe it had something to do with the fact that there were hundreds of rabid, foaming at the mouth Trumptards ready to follow her through the doors. The bullet had it's intended effect on the rabid dogs. They decided to think twice about it.
