The evidence against OJ was overwhelming the evidence against Chauvin was overwhelming. The main difference is blacks wanted OJ freed and Chauvin convicted.

Juries typically first review the evidence completely THEN take a vote. You can't do that in ten hours. Personally I think they were intimidated and wanted to vote and get out of the situation.

Again shortness of breath is a common symptom in a MI. But if he had a MI his heart would have shown in on autopsy. The autopsy showed heart disease but no signs of acute MI.

Two main differences

1-There was no video of the murder in OJ’s trial
2-Even WITH the video, the jury still took 10 hours to reach a verdict. OJ’s jury didn’t even deliberate. They were in and out in 4 hours. Just long enough to get that one last lunch.
