Aren't you painting all "white" colleges with a broad brush here? I would argue that many "white" colleges didn't accept blacks because they didn't qualify academically.

So Jim Crow was really just a difficult college entrance exam that all black folks just seemed to fail?

Interesting.

My limited knowledge on this subject is most of these historically black universities exist in the South where it was the biggest challenge to get into some of the large state university. So they did what I support, take the entrepreneurial route. If you are shut out of one university then start your own. I'm not mad at that.

So I'm ok with the term 'historically black universities'. Now there may be other things where labeling them as black and white I disagree thus I can be pointed at for being inconsistent or a hypocrite. That's fine.

I agree that these entrepreneurs should be commended, but the method they've chosen appears to belittle other schools that didn't have segregationist racial policies.

What the fuck are you talking about? They are called "historically black colleges and universities" because historically black folks attended the schools. Historically, black folks attended the schools because they were not welcome at white universities as a general matter. White folks went to "regular" colleges and universities. The founders of historically black colleges and universities did not "choose" segregationist racial policies, white people did.

And I don't even know what in holy hell you are talking about regarding "the method they've chosen" and how it "appears to belittle other schools that didn't have segregationist racial policies."

In short, you're an idiot.

You don't know what I'm talking about; that means that you're the idiot.
