The mob outnumbered the security people. If Babbitt had been allowed through and she had allowed others in, who knows what would have happened to the Congress people. Those in authority ruled the shooting justified and in my opinion it was. We saw how other police were overwhelmed and injured.

I’m sure Taft is one of those who claims people should heed the warnings of police officers. Ashli was warned, but ignored the warning and she paid the ultimate price.

How stupid. there was a huge mob busting down the doors of the capital, beating on cops and wrecking the bldg. She was part of a mob doing insurrection. The seditionists are lucky the cops did not shoot more of them.

So, for future reference, all that’s needed is a warning from a cop to an unarmed perp, then they get put down like a dog if they don’t heed it?

Lol, good try, but it was determined the shooting was justified. She was in a mob attacking the Capitol who were screaming for Pence and hunting Pelosi. The mob had broken barriers, smashed widows and attacked Capitol police.
