Matt Gaetz case gets more bizarre as extortion claim involves search for missing ex-FBI agent Robert Levinson

"Details surrounding the claim by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., that he is the victim of an extortion plot involving allegations of a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old now portend to connect it to a search for an FBI agent who went missing in Iran 14 years ago.

According to documents obtained and reported by the Washington Examiner, Gaetz's family was approached by former Air Force intelligence officer Bob Kent, who claimed that he had located former agent Robert Levinson, whose family presumed him to be dead. Kent reportedly sought a $25 million loan to fund an operation to rescue Levinson, and promised to help the congressman with legal woes in return.

"In exchange for the funds being arranged, and upon the release of Mr. Levinson, the team that delivers Mr. Levinson to the President of The United States shall strongly advocate that President Biden issue a Presidential Pardon, or instruct the Department of Justice to terminate any and all investigations involving Congressman Gaetz," said the document Kent reportedly gave Gaetz's father, which bore the heading "Project Homecoming."

The document stated that Rep. Gaetz was "currently under investigation by the FBI for various public corruption and public integrity issues." It goes on to allege that the FBI has learned of images of Gaetz in a "sexual orgy with underage prostitutes.""
 
Gaetz used to show naked pictures of the girls he was having. It creeped a lot of politicians out, even some Repubs. That is who many stayed away from him. Barr went the other way when he came around.

How convenient for these moral rot creatures like Gaetz as a result of idiots voting for these repuke swine as a disgrace against Democracy and all core values of America and the common decency of humanity just for them to use taxpayer money to live a life of debauchery and perversion as a sewer type existence. Its hard enough to stay on the straight and the narrow for as long as one is alive on Earth with the hopes of not making it to hell. Yet creatures like Gaetz and other repuke demagogue hypocrites must be ok with the idea of making it to a burning hell for a eternity on their body and soul because whether one thinks so or not, there is a Universal form of Justice as in the God Almighty that sees all and knows all and to which no one is able to manipulate that type of justice, and in their gutter advantage like they manipulate the imperfect and tainted so-called justice among the finite nature of mankind.

Utterly heinous, evil, indecent and un American and to attempt to get President Biden involved in atrocities associated with the Gaetz culture of moral and lawless rot, is all the more reason for Justice to not only go after Gaetz in a intense way but anyone else involved and associated with this conspiracy of Gaetz and his gutter associates to engage in the deranged nature of gutter corruption. This while the creature Gaetz being associated with Congress and living it up on the taxpayer dime to be used to pay for his sleazy and filthy existence. Biden will not pardon Gaetz. That is just not going to happen.

I really do not know what to make of the rest. It appears a group of Republicans were trying to extort money out of Gaetz's father to cover up Gaetz's criminal activity. Maybe it was to help this missing guy, or maybe that is just a cover. I really do not know.

I am glad I am not a Republican with this going on. They all come out of this looking badly.
 
In one interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on the night the initial Times article was published, Gaetz insisted that the 17-year-old girl in the allegation against him “doesn’t exist.” Yet in the same interview, he attempted to draw Carlson into the scandal by asserting that Carlson had been to dinner with Gaetz and the girl — which seemingly implies that she does exist. (According to a CNN source, Gaetz’s tactic made Carlson “livid.”)

Gaetz dug a deeper hole for himself when he gave a statement to Axios that could be inferred as an admission that he might have engaged in criminal acts with a minor

Gaetz's problem is there is almost certainly a paper record of his paying for travel. He might be able to coverup the drugs, because he probably did not use credit cards for that.

Basically, Greenberg is completely certainly guilty of providing fake IDs for children he had sex with. It is looking like Gaetz bought plane tickets for other girls that used those fake IDs, and Gaetz is the only connection these girls had with Greenberg. If that evidence is correct, even without the girls' testimony, Gaetz will probably be found guilty.

Biden has made no effort to setup a pardon for Gaetz. If there were any possible plans to pardon him, Biden would be trying to set things up so he could do it without getting too tarnished. Biden is not doing that. There is absolutely no way Gaetz is getting a pardon from Biden.

The other Republicans that sound like they tried to extort Gaetz may go to prison too. We have enough prisons for the child rapists, and the people who try to extort child rapists.

No, it will be the paper trail that gets Gaetz in the end. He bought tickets for girls who used fake IDs provided by his friend Greenberg. The extortion attempt by other Republicans against Gaetz should be treated as a separate investigation. Evidence wise, there is very little need for overlap.

Agreed and it should be end of the line for Gaetz in particular at disgracing Congress, society and all core values of America in such a brazen, arrogant and heinous way. No amount of filthy money this creep has including taxpayer money he splurged on to disgrace the taxpayer should keep him from getting the gaff of Justice on his dirty hide.
