HAHAHA. Case against Chauvin so weak prosecutor brings in George Floyd daughter

That's one interpretation. The technique the officer used is in fact the one approved by the department.

Have you seen the video?

RAW: George Floyd body cam footage

There is nothing in their policy that says they need to continue doing it for 9 minutes after the suspect is controlled and placed in custody. In fact, their policy is for them to stop once the suspect is under control. The aim is to not have folks die in police custody, and certainly not to be kneeling on their neck when it happens... Had this been the case this craptastic narcissist would have noticed him having issues breathing and called an ambulance. Instead, he had to show everybody around there that he was "the boss" and that "they couldn't tell him what to do" and ignored the distressed health of a man in custody.

Now, as for your claim that the ME said that his death wasn't homicide only means you didn't read the actual autopsy report where the ME noted: The Hennepin County medical examiner found fentanyl in Floyd’s system, but the autopsy said the cause of his death was “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law-enforcement subdual restraint, and neck compression.”

The ME also ruled the death to be a homicide.

It wasn't my claim. It's what the ME said. And which autopsy said "the cause of his death was cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law-enforcement subdual restraint, and neck compression?”

Now, please answer my question.

I don't recall claiming that he was. Go back and reread.

Then, as usual, you don't have a point.

"If he were found dead at home alone and no other apparent causes, this could be acceptable to call an OD. Deaths have been certified with levels of 3," Baker told investigators.

Those are Baker's words, quoted by you, with emphasis added by me. I can't wait for Baker to take the stand.

It's the title of the autopsy report you haven't read that doesn't say what you keep claiming it says.

The cops have no defense. It is like a guy sucker-punching an old lady and she dies. Then hr claims it is not his fault because she was old and not in good shape And she took 4 different prescriptions. If she was younger and worked out she would be alive. It does not work that way.

Strawman much?

Baker's point was that Floyd was killed. It was the same point the independent examiner made.

Was it?

"46-year-old man who became unresponsive while being restrained by law enforcement officers; he received emergency medical care in the field and subsequently in the Hennepin HealthCare (HHC) Emergency Department, but could not be resuscitated".

I think everyone with a connected brainstem knows that. The people who are afraid of BLM, though, started this shit. The defense's job is not to make a case. It's just to instill reasonable doubt, which in this case, is to justify the flagrant and barbaric public murder of an unconscious man in handcuffs -- by a police officer no less. The medical portion of the witnesses/evidence will be interesting. So far the defense is that Chauvin was distracted by the people who were begging him to stop murdering Floyd, so he had no choice except to finish murdering Floyd, with his hand in his pocket, as they watched. I support everyone's right to a defense, but these defense attorneys should go to prison with Chauvin.

Yes. Both reports concluded homicide and offered different causes of death resulting from a homicide. I'll repeat a question that you keep running from. Why are you so desperate to defend what Chauvin did?

And the defense lawyer will ask the jury how Chauvin was supposed to know about Floyd’s medical history before he used the neck restraint. And Floyd’s lawyers can expect to be pounded on the fact Floyd was loaded up on Fentanyl.

And the prosecution will say, "Chauvin didn't need to know anything about Floyd's medical history to know that he shouldn't have kneeled on his neck for nine and a half minutes. Is it reasonable to assume that a reasonable police officer acting in good faith and with good intentions would kneel on an incapacitated, handcuffed person's neck for that long, about half of which time the person was unresponsive and unmoving?" The answer, of course, is no.

Chauvin is going down for manslaughter and unlawful use of force. .

so tell us what chauvin did that was illegal. He had a giant serial felon who was about to die of asphyxiation and would go berzerk when that happened. Chauvin did the right thing. Floyd was already a dead man.

You do realize don't you that floyd was saying "i can't breathe" BEFORE he was put on the ground.?
