Just like my Libertarian self can't get you to understand that the government doesn't define it's own powers, I couldn't get a bunch of idiot republicans to understand that the Patriot Act was a complete undermining of the inalienable rights of we the people. I get that you want me to take on the government and it's military as a one man war machine and die violently, but i'm not about pleasing your stupid ass.

and I have nearly a dozen quotations from founders and commentators that say differently. Even Scalia, that guy you laud for writing that it doesn't mean any weapon, any where, any time, said specifically that it's an INDIVIDUAL right that has no relationship to membership in a militia
