Boulder police warn of 'active shooter at the King Soopers' supermarket

Each public/community incident should have been dealt with.... Then....If you've got a family member who's obviously not mentally stable, what would you do? Ignore it?

Intervention and talking to the professionals about it, asking what you can do about it.

Wrong again, dude. The will of all is pure democracy, which we are not and which is also dangerous.

Our democratic republic, or however you wish to describe it, has set up a three legged system of governance. That one leg, the Judicial Branch (SCOTUS), is the arbiter of what is constitutional and what is not.

I just quoted you what they said was constitutional regarding the Second Amendment. Don’t like their ruling? Send THEM your concerns. I’m sure they’ll give your comments all the attention it deserves.

Which do you want: A "pure democracy" or a Republic?

Intervention and talking to the professionals about it, asking what you can do about it.

Agreed, but the laws, and funding, prevent much action until a person breaks the law.

The Democrats want to ban guns to solve a mental health issue. The Republicans don't want to change anything. Nothing has been done for 30ish years.

Intervention and talking to the professionals about it, asking what you can do about it.
He's not my child...he wasn't my student...he doesn't live in my community....But if he was or did, I wouldn't ignore it...I never do....I never did....

They dont seem to have helped YOU all that much though. jk

There is no such thing as a 'pure democracy'. There is only a democracy, or there is not. Democracies have no constitution. It is government by popular vote. It is essentially mob rule.
Our democratic republic, or however you wish to describe it, has set up a three legged system of governance.
There is no such thing as a 'democratic republic'. The United States was organized as a federated republic. Each State is a republic. That means they have a constitution.
That one leg, the Judicial Branch (SCOTUS), is the arbiter of what is constitutional and what is not.
WRONG. The Supreme Court does NOT have authority to change or interpret the Constitution of the United States nor any State constitution. See Article III.
I just quoted you what they said was constitutional regarding the Second Amendment.
The Supreme Court has no say over the 2nd amendment. They do not have authority to change the Constitution of the United States nor any State constitution. They cannot destroy an inherent right either.
Don’t like their ruling? Send THEM your concerns. I’m sure they’ll give your comments all the attention it deserves.
No need. They can simply be ignored.

Ummm...that one can be traced back to Reagan. :)

I liked Reagan for "Peace through Strength" and other reasons. OTOH, he did fuck up PATCO, AIDS, mental healthcare and, to a large degree, Illegal Immigration.

Reagan beat the Soviet Union and, for that, I'm forever grateful.

You still making up stories about what Reagan supposedly did???

I’m not angry, pally boy. I’m merely trying to give you information. Truthful information. You seem to be having difficulty with that.

Ummmmm.....looked angry...and pissy:

What did I just say?
I can’t help you with your reading comprehension.
