This is always a false comparison between guns and cars. The majority of Americans use their cars for 10-20 hours a week for their intended purpose. The majority of gun owners, who make up less than 50% of car owners, are lucky to use a gun for 10-20 hours a month. Many of them use their gun for less than 10-20 hours a year unless they are an avid hunter. Cars are over a thousand times safer per hour of use compared to guns.
