The felons from Jan 6 should never legally carry a gun again.

If the firearm is owned by someone else, yes and even then there are some that cannot live in a home with any firearms, and for good reason.

I do not have a problem with someone that has served their time for a felony that was not a violent felony going before a court and having their 2nd A right reinstated, those that use guns in violent crimes should lose that period.

Agreed about a path to reinstatement. If a person can't become a full citizen again, why are we letting them out of jail?

If you were an American who understood our laws, you'd see that there are both State and Federal laws about felons and guns. Nothing different if the felony is committed in attacking the Capitol and murdering a police officer or if it's just a bank robbery killing the guard.

OTOH, jurisdiction and sentencing play a roll too. Obviously shittly little Third World Countries handle it differently.
