Of a violent felony, I agree.
In Texas, even a felon is allowed to have a gun in their home for self-defense. Purchasing it is another matter.
If the firearm is owned by someone else, yes and even then there are some that cannot live in a home with any firearms, and for good reason.
I do not have a problem with someone that has served their time for a felony that was not a violent felony going before a court and having their 2nd A right reinstated, those that use guns in violent crimes should lose that period.
