George Floyd test results

The final report from the medical examiner says Floyd had bruises and cuts on his head, face, mouth, shoulders, arms and legs from when the officer forced him to the ground and knelt on his neck. But it finds no evidence that any of those injuries directly would have killed him.

It found no evidence of major neck injuries, skull or brain injuries.

There was no damage to internal organs, it said. "The thyroid cartilage and hyoid bone are intact," it reads. The hyoid bone can be broken during strangulation.

The final autopsy says Floyd had heart disease and a history of high blood pressure. It includes a more complete toxicology report that said Floyd had evidence of several drugs in his blood and urine, including morphine, fentanyl, cannabis and methamphetamine'.

The Washington Post has video from a restaurant pointed at the street that captured George Floyd's first interactions with the police. In it, you can see two police officers. One talks to Floyd for over two minutes before he tries to remove him from the vehicle. Floyd then briefly struggles with both officers and appears to nearly collapse at 03:14- 03:17. As an officer walks Floyd, who is handcuffed behind his back, over to the wall, Floyd's gait is uneven. He is talking to the officer, and they appear to continue the dialogue as the officer assists Floyd in sitting down against the wall. The officer even makes some notes in his notepad. The officer lifts Floyd back to his feet by pulling up on his arms, which causes Floyd to grimace and turn his face toward the officer. His gait is again lurching and uneven as the two officers walk him across the road to their patrol vehicle. When they reach it, he falls to the ground for a moment. The fact that Floyd appears to be talking to the officer and the officer is taking notes suggests that Floyd is engaging in dialogue. The gait disturbance suggests that Floyd may have been under the influence of alcohol or some other drug that could affect his balance. In addition to fentanyl and methamphetamine, the toxicology report from the autopsy showed that Floyd also had cannabinoids in his system when he died. Imagine my surprise at that. A blue shithole throws money at these people like...like...:thinking: well, almost like they knew a 2 trillion dollar "covid relief bill"( :rofl2: ) was coming. So basically, they hung the cop without a trial. This is sometimes called a "lynching".

In the majority of civil lawsuits, the defendant settles with the plaintiff because it is more economical to do so. The plaintiff will also have to sign an agreement to not pursue any further litigation, so there won't be additional losses in the future. In a trial, the defendant may prevail.
