Washington (CNN)The two German Shepherds belonging to President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden were returned to the Biden family home in Delaware last week after aggressive behavior at the White House involving Major Biden, two sources with knowledge tell CNN.

Major, who was adopted by Biden in November 2018 from a Delaware animal shelter, had what one of the people described as a "biting incident" with a member of White House security. The exact condition of the victim is unknown, however, the episode was serious enough that the dogs were subsequently moved to Wilmington, Delaware, where they remain.
On Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed Major caused an injury to an unnamed individual.
"[Champ and Major] are still getting acclimated and accustomed to their surroundings and new people. And on Monday, the first family's younger dog, Major, was surprised by an unfamiliar person and reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual," said Psaki, who added the injury was handled by the White House medical unit

Those are two very common sayings....I've got my "adopt don't shop" hoodie on right now...(all our pups are rescues)....Sounds like the Biden dogs were moved to a new, confusing, scary situation, with tons of strangers.... and not properly decompressed....Something they should have addressed..... but a nip doesn't mean aggression (especially one that doesn't even break the skin...)....and the worst thing they could do is move them again, imho...they should know better...

They are props, do you think joe biden himself has any involvement in their day to day care? The dogs were good optics for biden everyone loves dogs (unless its a pit bull then people get all stupid), but once an incident occurred from lack of proper care and training, they were no longer valuable as an optic.

Give me a fucking break, every one of those traits are normal and the dog just has to get broken from jumping and "charging" (Whatever that means). Barking is almost impossible to completely stop.

I accept your concession, and disagree, only if you are piss poor at owning a dog are they a problem. These dogs apparently were so much a problem they were dumped back into delaware.

Only an idiot would think that. Sorry dumb ass but Major must be quarantined for 10 to 14 days for biting someone. I suspect that is the reason. I will make a donation in your name to PETA.

If he were, they wouldn't be getting shipped off to Delaware...apparently Jill isn't home, though....???
This would be the time for him to be working with them to get them settled in....not sure why they're not getting help in DC...

I don't think the bite even broke the skin...but not sure....
The owner would observe them for 10 days though...sending them away...I don't get....

You do know peta kills more animals than any other org right? they don't think you should own a dog. and the quarantine is just some bullshit you made up and that quarantine would not be back at home in delaware.

They were sent to the family home that the dogs are used to. We are talking politics, normal for Joe Six Pack is not normal for the WH.

I would fire the trainer. Why was he not acclimating the dogs prior? He literally had one job. lol

So I am reading they were "Adopted from a shelter". my guess one of those bougie "shelters" which are just ways privileged douches can get their purebred and call it a "shelter dog".
