Majority of House Democrats vote in favor of lowering voting age to 16

16 year olds are still playing with toys and have little understanding of politics , democrats want felons to be able to vote again because 7 out of 10 are democrats , they want illegals to vote and they are against voter Id so people and vote that are not eligible to vote or vote multiple times.

The voting age should be the same age to Drink, Vote, Sign Legal Documents, be Charged as an Adult in a Court of Law, and Serve in the Military, pick one age and Only one age, either they are adults or they are not, not just when we want them to be or not.
I am fine with 18 for all of the above, most of Europe goes with 16.

I suppose there are some people of any age that still play with toys, but it would be considered bizarre if a 16 year old was playing with dolls. Many would have a better understanding of politics than you.

Correct, and this will be ESPECIALLY true if HR1 gets passed, but even at the present moment they don't need voters anymore. I think that the 2020 mirage of an election was enough evidence of that.

  • 16-year-olds required to be registered to vote.
  • Nationwide same-day registration
  • Grants ($25M) for election activities
  • Prohibiting attempts to clean voter rolls of non-residents or deceased
  • Murderers and rapists can vote
  • Mandatory early voting
  • Banning voter ID
  • It gives federal workers SIX DAYS of paid vacation to work the polls

The bill provides stiff penalties for anyone who ‘harasses’ poll workers and government administrators. Questioning election results can be prosecuted under a broad definition of what constitutes harassment.

Men and women mature differently, and younger women think emotionally even more than older women! No thanks on 16

I said I thought 18 was the best age. Old enough to kill and be killed old enough for everything else, and not before, meaning no being charged as an adult at 12 or 15.

Well we agree, and disagree, some of the most heinous crimes demand we charge them as adults unless there are other circumstances, such as being under the influence of an adult, or being mental!

Wrong, charging them as an adult makes them one in the eyes of the law, which we both know is nonsense. If a teen or younger commits a horrendous crime they can be sentenced to juvie then to prison once they reach adult age, no reason to call them adults when they are not.
