Actually, they changed their name because too many people didn't know what black water is; they think its pollution or some racist thing. Great company though.

there in lies the rub...do we not vote for the two (occasionally 3) final candidates? what if no one in the caucuses is worthy? do we simply let our non vote act as a vote for the one we think would harm the country more?

What has always been glaringly apparent is the dishonesty of the right .. and you quite often exemplifiy that trait.

Blackwater is a disgrace .. only a fool and/or a right-winger would suggest otherwise.

it's totally unethical and immoral for ANY legitimate president or government to be using private mercs as security.

It's also a glaring spotlight on the indifference most people pay to the unequal protection of the laws when it regards civilians and who they work for.

I don't believe we are. Not only are we not intelligent enough, we also aren't courageous enough. We are cowards .. and most of us hide behind political parties .. who play us for fools while they dance to the music of their corporate masters.

There are indeed solutions, but none that I believe the American people have the courage or wisdom to undertake.

I did, the only reason I did any pro Obama talk was to rag on the rascists and extreme partisan right.
I did not see any way we would just pull out of Iraq when Obama was elected.
It was what I wanted though.

How very true. I have always said we are all responsible for offshoring of jobs and industries. Had we not bought all the cheap imported stuff....
